ClearVue Technologies looks to secure place in US supply chain through D2Solar agreement
ClearVue Technologies (OTCMKTS:CVUEF) on February 8, 2022, signed the Master Services Agreement with D2Solar. The Agreement aims at developing its technology in the California region. Operating in the Building Integrated Photovoltaic sector, ClearVue involves integrating solar technology into buildings, especially building façades and glass for providing renewable energy.
The firm has developed advanced glass technology aiming to preserve glass transparency for maintaining building aesthetics while generating electricity.
ClearVue will be co-locating the US engineering team with the leading specialist in solar engineering, D2Solar. The move is expected to ameliorate product development and also ensure a localized US technical team capable of supporting CPV’s sales in North America. The development will facilitate in securing a position within the US supply chain.
The agreement has set the foundation for a long-term partnership with D2Solar and will ensure a stable, secure US-based product supply chain, an important factor in the North American market.
D2Solar managing director Duncan Harwood said that the opportunity to collaborate with ClearVue is exciting. Harwood added that the two have worked on making integrated photovoltaic products and the new technology development will help in responding to the climate crisis. The agreement also provides both companies to venture into the Exclusive OEM Supply Agreement for D2Solar to manufacture some components, which would be supplied to ClearVue in end-products.
ClearVue executive chairman Victor Rosenberg said that the future is bright on its partnership with D2Solar.
