Quest Water Global Inc (OTC:QWTR) Stock In Focus Corporate Update

On Tuesday, Quest Water Global Inc. (OTC:QWTR) was one of the many companies to hit the news cycle after it provided a key corporate update. It may be a good idea for investors to consider taking a look into it. The company noted that it was proud on the day of the one-year anniversary of the AQUAtap Basketball Academy in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The academy had been launched by Quest Water Global through its partnership with Aquatap Oasis. In its news release, the company acknowledged that AQUAtap Oasis had had a positive impact on the socioeconomic conditions in the DRC. It had been particularly impactful in creating self-sufficient and strong communities and in its support for youth development.

Quest Water Global revealed that since the basketball academy was established in October last year, it has been crucial in supporting both boys and girls in the age range of 6 to 18 years. Additionally, the under-17 teams of both boys and girls participated in competitive tournaments that took place in the capital city of Kinhasa.

Both teams exceeded their expectations in terms of performance. The management of the academy and the coaching responsibilities are performed by many professional coaches associated with the DRC’s Men’s National Basketball Team on a volunteer basis.

Other than that, the company also announced yesterday that it had entered into a strategic business deal with Lynk Global Inc., a worldwide satellite direct-to-mobile service provider. It was a significant new development given the technology from Lynk that enables regular cell phones to be connected anywhere, shifting smoothly from a terrestrial tower to an overhead satellite. The satellites are already in operation in the DRC, in addition to other geographic locations in which Quest Water Global already has a presence.
