US Nuclear Corp. (OTC:UCLE) Stock Surges 13%: Here is Why
If a key partner of a company has a significant breakthrough, then it is seen as a positive development, and hence, it may be time to keep an eye on the US Nuclear Corp. (OTC:UCLE) stock. On December 26, the company announced that its partner, Magneto Inertia Fusion Technology Inc. (MIFTI), had demonstrated its fusion technology at the L3 Harris Lab located in San Leandro, California.
During the demonstration, MIFTI had managed to produce a remarkable yield to the tune of as much as 150 billion neutrons. The yield had also met all the different high-tech computer code predictions. Additionally, the figures clocked by MIFTI were also 10,000 times higher than what had been achieved by any private company across the globe.
In previous news releases, US Nuclear Corp. stated that MIFTI was a major leader in the field of fusion power development and had already enjoyed considerable success with its 1-MegaAmp prototype fusion generator. Additionally, it was noted in the news release that advanced simulations had revealed that if the fusion generator from MIFTI was scaled up to 10 amps, it would be able to hit net energy gains.
That would help in the commercial production of the medical isotopes, which are in significant demand for cancer scanning at hospitals. US Nuclear is currently the investor, partner, and potential primary contractor for the fusion power generator from MIFTI.
In the same news release, US Nuclear also pointed out that the worldwide global fusion industry had grown at a breakneck pace. It hit a cumulative valuation of $6.21 billion, and that reflected a considerable jump from the valuation of $4.8 billion from around a year ago. It may well be a good idea for investors to consider keeping an eye on US nuclear stocks in the coming days.
