Roadrunner Transportation Systems (OTC:RRTS) Stock Gains After Major Updates
Following a major new announcement last Thursday, Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. (OTC:RRTS) was in sharp focus among investors, and it is likely to be on the radars of investors this morning as well.
Roadrunner Speeds Up Transit Times, Opens 40 New Lanes, and Expands Smart Guarantee Service Offering
The company announced that it had been instrumental in accelerating transit times spread over more than 200 lanes, establishing in excess of 40 new lanes, and also for trebling its Smart Guarantee Service. Additionally, the company noted that the Smart Guarantee ensured that shipments were delivered on time; otherwise, the service was free.
Additionally, the Weekend+ Advantage offering from Roadrunner Transportation Systems provided 50 more long haul lanes to take the total of 300, which lowered transit times by 1 to 3 days. That is only applicable for shipments that were sent on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Awards for Key Executives
Roadrunner Transportation Systems also announced that two of its key executives, VP of Linehaul Operations Shari Leon and Service Center Manager Naomi Rivers, were bestowed with the 2024 Women in Supply Chain Awards. They were recognized for their contributions to the supply chain industry.
The award is funded by the publication Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only offering of its kind covering the worldwide supply chain. Another backer of the award is Food Logistics, a publication focused on product movement in the worldwide cold food supply chain.
