NovAccess Global Inc. (OTCMKTS:XSNX) dropped 7% in the last session after the company welcomed its new CFO, Neil Laird. CEO Dwain Irvin said that they are delighted to welcome Laird to the company’s management team.

On Wednesday, XSNX stock slid 7% at $0.40 with more than 27k shares, compared to its average volume of 10K shares. The stock has moved within a range of $0.2925 – 0.4300 after opening trading at $0.43.

Laird is a seasoned financial executive that works with upcoming firms to offer them finance and accounting-related services. He has worked with various technology firms for the past four years as a consultant. Before this, he was a CFO at Mobileum Inc., a private firm that offers roaming solutions to the telecom sector.  He was also a CFO at ADAC Laboratories, a PET system and nuclear medicine provider, and SumTotal Systems, an enterprise learning management technology provider.

Also, Laird has held various senior management positions at Measurex Corporation and Coherent Medical Lasers. He will replace ex-CFO Mike Yukich, who took the role coming from retirement to help spin off NovAccess Global from Innovest Global, its parent firm. Therefore, XSNX is worth watching in the coming weeks.
