Aridis Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTC:ARDS) Stock on the Radar After Adjournment of Annual Meeting

This past Friday, the company announced that the 2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders had been convened and adjourned. However, no business was conducted at the meeting since there was no quorum. As a consequence, the meeting had been adjourned to January 12, 2024, at 9 a.m. local time and would be held at Aridis Pharmaceuticals’ offices in Los Gatos, California.

The rescheduled meeting would provide the shareholders with the additional time that they would need to vote on the proposals that had been made in the company’s proxy statement on Schedule 14A. Schedule 14A had also been filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on November 3, 2023.

The company also noted that the record date for the meeting continued to be November 2, 2023. Shareholders in Aridis who had already submitted their proxy or voted would not need to take any more actions if they didn’t wish to change their votes. Additionally, no changes had been made by the company with regards to the proposals that would be voted on by shareholders at the aforementioned annual meeting.

The company also advised its shareholders to read the proxy statement and other proxy statements pertaining to the meeting since they contained significant information. Shareholders who are interested could visit the Securities and Exchange Commission website to get hold of those materials at no cost.
