Bion and Dakota Valley Growers Announce LOI for Sustainable Beef Project
Yesterday the company had come on to the news cycle after it announced that it had signed a letter of intent with Dakota Valley Growers for the development of a beef cattle feeding operation that could sustain 15000 cattle. It could well prove to be a significant new project for Bion Environmental Technologies considering the fact that once fully functional the facility would be able to produce as many as 42500 heads of premium sustainable beef cattle.
It now remains to be seen if the news leads to any major interest in the Bion Environmental Technologies over the course of the coming days. The project in question would also provide indoor barns so as to ensure the cattle continue to add proteins while at the same not same time not burning calories.
Cattle may burn calories in order to stay warm or if they fight with each other through mud. The indoor barns would also be equipped with slatted floors so that manure can be removed continuously for processing and removal.
