BrightRock Gold Corp. (OTC:BRGC) Stock Takes a Hit: Now What?

If you are looking into lithium exploration companies this morning, then it may be hard to look past BrightRock Gold Corp. (OTC:BRGC), which saw its stock clock gains of 13% amidst strong interest. Presently, the company is focused on ‘Revival of the Midnight Owl Mine’, its key project, located not too far away from Phoenix, Arizona.

Brightrock Gold Corp. Announces Positive Field Sampling Results With Significant Gold Concentrations

Yesterday, the company announced that the findings from its recently completed field sampling initiative suggested that there were considerable gold concentrations in a number of samples. BrightRock Gold stated that the findings marked a significant moment in its exploration campaigns and opened up the possibility of a dual mineral resource at the project.

In the news release, it was also revealed that 16 samples had been collected in total spread across the adit and surface historic workings figured out through XRF surveys. Many of those samples assayed considerable amounts of gold. The findings revealed that the gold concentrations touched a level of 11.6 grams per ton, which was an indication of the strong mineralization at the property.

It was however noted that BrightRock Gold’s primary focus would continue to be on lithium. The discovery of gold at the property was described as an exciting and major development. BrightRock Gold would expand its exploration activities in order to get a better idea about the full scope of the results.

Mac J. Shahsavar, P.Eng., Chairman and CEO of BrightRock, commented:

“We are thrilled by these results. While our primary focus remains on lithium, the discovery of significant gold concentrations is a welcome and exciting development. This strengthens our belief in the immense potential of the Midnight Owl property. We will now look into expanding our exploration activities to better understand the full scope of these findings and the potential synergies between lithium and gold extraction.”
