Conservative Broadcast Media & Journalism (OTC:CBMJ) Stock In Focus After Recent News
The media industry remains a highly sought-after sector, and currently there are a number of listed media companies that could be worth tracking. One of those is Conservative Broadcast Media & Journalism Inc. (OTC:CBMJ), which was in the news cycle on Wednesday following a significant new announcement. The company announced yesterday that it had added the well-known drive-time television host Jason Lewis to its roster at Patriot TV.
In this context, it may be a good idea to take a look into the credentials of Lewis as a broadcaster. The company noted that Lewis was a highly experienced broadcaster and had formerly been a guest host for Rush Limbaugh quite frequently. Additionally, Lewis was also a member of the United States Congress. He had managed to gather considerable support in the important St. Paul and Minneapolis markets during his time at AM 1500 KSTP starting in 1994.
In 2007, he started appearing as one of the guests for Rush Limbaugh, the renowned broadcaster. From 2009 up until 2014, Lewis hosted his own syndicated show, which ultimately led to his being elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2016. Four years later, Lewis had emerged as the Minnesota Republican nominee for the United States Senate.
However, he lost by a small margin in a highly challenging electoral field. This past Monday, the Chief Operating Officer and President of Patriot TV, Brannon Howse, joined Lewis in his first program. During the show, Howse provided Lewis with a warm welcome to the network. In the segment, Howse spoke about his excitement with regards to the addition of Lewis to the roster. He noted that once he had become the Chief Operating Officer and President of Patriot TV, Lewis was the first person that he had contacted.
