Graphite One Receives First Active Anode Material Samples Produced from Alaska Graphite
The sample specifications data and the sample materials had been provided by the United States Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory for the purpose of further testing. In addition to that, the sample materials had also been sent to an Electric Vehicle manufacturer for the purpose of evaluation. The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company Anthony Hudson spoke about the latest development as well. He noted that it was a major new development for Graphite One.
He noted that the fact that the company could provide Graphite Creek feedstock to both the United States National Lab and a major electric manufacturer was a significant step forward. It was a major step in the company’s quest to create a completed United States-based advanced graphite supply chain. The natural graphite that had been obtained from the property had been purified through a fluorine-free purification process and all three samples had been produced at the commercial scale anode material manufacturing facility of Sunrise.
