The company hit the news cycle yesterday after it announced that its Mexico affiliate and business partner HGI Industrial Technologies went into a joint venture with Santa Rosa Seeds. It was a significant new development given the fact that Santa Rosa is one of the pair of companies to have been awarded the highly sought-after Mexican government hemp license. As a consequence, Santa Rosa is strongly positioned to emerge as a major player in the growing hemp market in Mexico.
In the news release, Premier Biomedical also noted that the above-mentioned collaboration was a major milestone for both the concerned companies. The joint venture would combine the respective expertise of the two companies to unleash innovation in the hemp market, Premier Biomedical added.
The company also helped HGI Industrial get a secured lease spread across an area of 8000 hectares spanning 7 states in North Western Mexico. It was also noted that the company was also working on another land acquisition deal concerning 5000 hectares of land in Sonora and Baja California.
