SAP SE (NYSE:SAP) And Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) To Integrate Microsoft Teams With SAP Intelligent Suite Solutions
SAP SE (NYSE:SAP) has announced an expansion of its partnership with Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) and plans for integration of Microsoft Teams with its intelligent suite solutions.
SAP and Microsoft expand strategic partnership
The companies formalized the extensive expansion of their existing strategic partnership accelerating SAP S/4HANA®’s adoption of Microsoft Azure. Equally, this will build on the companies’ joint commitment to streamline and simplify customer’s shift to the cloud.
Christian Klein, SAP’s CEO said that new collaborating, working, and interacting ways have transformed how the company operates. Klein explained that the integration of Microsoft teams across SAP’s solution portfolio will take the collaboration to the next level, jointly determine the future of work and enable frictionless enterprise. Further, the CEO explained that the Microsoft partnership focuses on continuously advancing customer success and this is the reason SAP is expanding the Azure interoperability.
Over the past year, a lot has changed with a shift to remote working and there is growing dependence on Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and collaborations. As a result, facilitating enterprise and changes in work, the companies are creating new integrations between SAP solutions such as SAP Customer Experience, SAP® SuccessFactors®, and SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Teams. The integration will enhance employee engagement and productivity, support global growth and deliver collaborative learning. The companies have planned the integrations for delivery in mid this year.
Integration to help enterprises leverage the cloud
Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella said that the digital transformation case is currently very urgent. Nadella said that the integration of the Azure and Teams’ power with SAP’s solution will help enterprises in harnessing the power of the cloud to quickly adapt and innovate under the current circumstances.
Equally the companies will expand their endorse cloud partnership announce two years ago and unveil new cloud automation offerings and SAP S/4HANA integration on Microsoft Azure. Microsoft and SAP will expand the ability to run mission-critical intelligent enterprise on Azure enabling customers to modernize enterprise applications.
