Strathmore Plus Uranium (SUU.V) (OTC:SUUFF) Enhances Geophysical Surveys at Night Owl and Agate Projects
Uranium is a highly sought-after mineral at this point and companies involved in the sector often get a lot of attention nowadays. One of the companies which you could consider taking a look into is Strathmore Plus Uranium Corporation (SUU.V) (OTC:SUUFF).
The company had been in the news cycle back on June 26 when announced that it had expanded the geophysical surveys at Night Owl and Agate. The expansion would consist of the magnetic, near-surface, and airborne radiometric surveys at the Night Owl Project. Additionally, a ground geophysical survey is going to be initiated at the Agate project. Both those projects are situated at the Shirley Basin uranium project in Wyoming.
The intent of the expansion of the surveys would be to define those areas of drilling targets and uranium deposits across the areas of the two projects. On June 19, 2023, Dr. Brad Carr, Director of the University Wyoming Near-Surface Geophysical Center, Research Associate in UW’s Dept. of Geology and Geophysics, and Terrance Osier, Vice President of Exploration at P.Geo, visited the two projects. Both of them confirmed that there was off-scale surface mineralization at Night Owl from the samples from the area that had been mined by Atomic Energy Commission allotment in the past.
The Night Owl survey would be completed by MHW Geo Surveys. On top of surveying the main Night Owl claim, the survey would also include the mineral lease spanning 640 acres that the company had acquired in the latter part of 2022.
The University of Wyoming’s Near-Surface Geophysical Center would be responsible for the survey at the Agate project and would be overseen by Dr. Brad Carr. The survey would include near-surface methods and would focus on refining locations and ‘proof of concept’. It may be a good time to keep an eye on the stock.
