New Board Member
The company announced yesterday that it had appointed a new member to its board of directors in the form of Danielle W. Barnes. In the news release, it was also noted that Barnes was the president and chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, which serves more than 16,000 volunteers and girls in the region. However, that was not all. Barnes had also overseen the United States Human Services practice at Ernst & Young before she joined the Girl Scouts organization.
Strong Credentials
Truxton also noted in its news release that its latest member of the board had also been a member of the Governor’s Cabinet in the capacity of the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Human Services. It was also noted that the company was fully committed to making its operations much better, and Barnes was going to lend considerable leadership chops and experience to the initiative.
