Verde Bio Holdings Inc (OTCMKTS:VBHI) Announces Late Filings Update: Stock Falls

Verde Bio Holdings Inc (OTCMKTS:VBHI) was in the news yesterday after it emerged that it had sent in a key filing. However, that did not have much of an effect on its stock, which traded within a range.

Without further ado, it is perhaps time for investors to take a look at the nature of the filings. Verde Bio submitted a filing on Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing was in relation to the annual report on Form 10 Q for the financial year that ended for the company on April 30, 2021.

In its quest to be as transparent as possible, the company announced that was not going to be able to file the 10 K by end of the deadline. In this regard, it should be noted that the deadline was July 29, 2021 and that was after Verde Bio had been given an extension by the SEC. The company also announced that in order to complete its audit it hired the services of an accounting firm which is an expert on the oil and gas sector. Investors could consider keeping an eye on the Verde Bio stock over the coming days.
