The cognitive computing company Verse AI Inc. (OTC:VRSSF) is a specialist in next-generation intelligent software systems. Last Friday the company had been in focus after it announced that it appointed a new Vice President of Product, Developer Platforms in the form of Peter Provost.

The provost would be responsible for leading the enhancement and strategic development of the company’s Intelligence as a Service platform, Genius. He would deploy his considerable experience in the product engineering space, leadership qualities, and good understanding of the developer community to steer the project in the right direction.

The Chief Technology Officer of Verse AI, Jason Fox, spoke about the development. He noted that Provost was a highly experienced operator who commanded experience of around twenty years at Visual Studio and Azure teams at the tech behemoth Microsoft. In his new role, he would take up the leadership of the company’s move to improve the developer experience on its Genius platform. He would help in nurturing higher creativity and move forward the mission of VERSES for the creation of a smarter globe brought about by the power of artificial intelligence.

In this regard, it ought to be noted that his experience of nearly two decades at Microsoft was stressed by VERSES AI as having been a significant reason behind the appointment. During his time at Microsoft, he held a number of roles in leadership, engineering, and product management.

Throughout the course of his career, Provost also displayed his strong commitment to initiatives, which are driven by developers. Some of the domains in which he worked during his career include bid data, IoT, software development life cycle, and enterprise systems, among others. The range of experience held by Provost was in alignment with the vision of Verse as a company, it was noted.
