Xtra Energy Corp (OTC:XTPT) Stock Gains On Unusual Volume: Here is Why

Following the key new announcement from Xtra Energy Corp (OTC:XTPT) on Monday, the company’s stock experienced strong action and ended the day with gains of 17%.

Announces The Results of The Recently Completed Mapping and Sampling Program

The company announced the results from the sampling and mapping initiative that it had concluded on the American Antimony Project. The initiative had taken place between August 11 and August 20. It had been overseen by Robert Johansing, a geologist based out of California with considerable experience in the South Western United States, Nevada and other regions.

In the news release, the company revealed that the Bernice Canyon part of the property revealed a number of antimony mines on either side.

21 samples had been collected in total from the stockpiles and dumps spread across the canyon floor. The report also added that the type of mineralization had been more important on a volumetric scale than the vein type higher grade occurrences.

He noted that everyone at the company was pleased about the successful results from the mapping and sampling initiative. He went on to note that the data further solidified the company’s confidence in the potential of the project.
